Weddings at 11 MILE
One wedding at a time. The property is yours from arrival to departure.
The weekend
Thursday to Sunday
The house and grounds are yours for the length of the booking, so the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, the reception and Sunday breakfast all happen in one place.
Couples usually arrive Thursday and leave Sunday. The lawn runs down to the water and takes a ceremony well. Dinner happens at a long table, on the porch, or in the paneled dining room if the weather turns.

The ceremony
On the lawn, facing the water
The ground between the house and the sound is open and level, with live oaks either side. Most ceremonies here are held in late afternoon.

Dinner
Inside or outside
A long table on the grass, the full width of the screened porch, or the dining room under its coffered ceiling. The decision can wait until the day.

The house
Where people photograph
The stair hall, the carved arch in the front room, the three stained-glass panels on the landing, and eight fireplaces.

Capacity, sound and alcohol arrangements, tenting, parking and fire permissions depend on your plan and on Franklin County rules. We confirm each one in writing during planning.
